Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Manali
Arrive in Manali, the gateway to the Himalayas. Check in to your hotel and relax after your journey. Use the day to acclimatize to the altitude and explore the charming Mall Road or visit local cafés. Overnight stay in Manali.
Day 2: Manali to Kaza via Rohtang Pass & Kunzum La (Approx. 8–10 hrs)
Start early for a thrilling drive through the Atal Tunnel, Rohtang Pass, and Kunzum La (4,590 m). Marvel at the shift in scenery from lush green valleys to barren, high-altitude desert. Reach Kaza, the heart of Spiti Valley, by evening. Overnight stay in Kaza.
Day 3: Kaza Local Sightseeing – Key, Kibber, Hikkim, Komic & Langza
Today, explore the cultural treasures of Spiti. Visit Key Monastery, Spiti’s largest monastery, then proceed to Kibber, one of the highest inhabited villages. Stop at Chicham Bridge, Asia’s highest suspension bridge. Later, visit Hikkim (home to the world’s highest post office), Komic (one of the highest villages), and Langza, known for fossils and the giant Buddha statue. Return to Kaza. Overnight stay in Kaza.
Day 4: Kaza – Dhankar – Tabo – Return to Kaza
Begin with a visit to Dhankar Monastery, perched dramatically above the Spiti River. Continue to Tabo Monastery, over 1,000 years old and often called the “Ajanta of the Himalayas.” If time permits, explore nearby caves used by monks for meditation. Return to Kaza. Overnight stay in Kaza.
Day 5: Kaza to Chandratal Lake via Kunzum Pass
After breakfast, begin your scenic journey toward Chandratal Lake, one of the most beautiful high-altitude lakes in India. Cross Kunzum Pass again and reach Chandratal by afternoon. Spend time by the lake soaking in its surreal reflections and pristine beauty. Overnight stay in camps near Chandratal (seasonal).
Day 6: Chandratal to Manali via Batal & Rohtang Pass
Depart early for Manali. Enjoy a rough but scenic drive through Batal, Chatru, and Rohtang Pass. Arrive in Manali by evening and check into your hotel. Rest after the long journey. Overnight stay in Manali.
Day 7: Manali Local Sightseeing
Enjoy a relaxed sightseeing day in Manali. Visit Hadimba Devi Temple, Vashisht Hot Springs, Manu Temple, and take a walk on Mall Road. You can also opt for café-hopping or paragliding (extra cost). Overnight stay in Manali.
Day 8: Leisure Day in Manali
Use this day at your own pace—relax at the hotel, shop for souvenirs, or try local Himachali food. Optional activities like rafting or zip-lining can be arranged. Overnight stay in Manali.
Day 9: Departure from Manali
After breakfast, check out and proceed for your return journey. Jai Maa Mansa team will assist you with drop at Manali bus stand or arrange transportation to Chandigarh or Delhi if booked in advance. Tour ends with unforgettable Himalayan memories.
