Day 1: Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization and Local Exploration

Your unforgettable journey with Jai Maa Mansa begins as you land in Leh, the heart of Ladakh. Our representative will greet you at the airport and assist with a smooth transfer to your hotel. The first day is reserved for acclimatization to the high altitude (11,500 ft), ensuring a safe and comfortable experience. In the evening, if your health permits, enjoy a leisurely visit to Shanti Stupa, offering panoramic views of Leh, followed by a walk through the charming Leh Market and a visit to the historic Leh Palace. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing – Sham Valley Tour

After breakfast, set off for a scenic day exploring Sham Valley, a region rich in natural beauty and cultural landmarks. The day includes visits to the Hall of Fame Museum (a tribute to Indian soldiers), the gravity-defying Magnetic Hill, and the sacred Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. The tour continues to the picturesque Confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers, a must-see photo spot. After a day of discovery, return to Leh for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass

Post breakfast, begin your drive to the enchanting Nubra Valley via the legendary Khardung La Pass—one of the world’s highest motorable roads at 18,380 feet. As you descend into Nubra, the landscape transforms into a high-altitude desert. Visit the ancient Diskit Monastery, which houses a magnificent statue of the Maitreya Buddha. Later, enjoy a camel ride across the Hunder Sand Dunes on unique double-humped Bactrian camels. Overnight stay in a deluxe camp or guesthouse in Nubra Valley.

Day 4: Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shyok Route

Today, journey to the mesmerizing Pangong Lake, taking the scenic Shyok River route. Located at 14,000 ft, this spectacular lake stretches across India and China, with its waters famously changing color from blue to green to turquoise. Spend time soaking in the tranquil beauty of Pangong and capturing moments by the lakeside. Dinner and overnight stay in a lakeside camp or eco-cottage under the stars.

Day 5: Pangong to Leh – Departure via Chang La Pass

Wake up to a breathtaking sunrise over Pangong Lake before heading back to Leh. The return journey takes you through the stunning Chang La Pass (17,586 ft), the third-highest motorable road in the world. Upon reaching Leh, you’ll be dropped off at the airport for your onward journey, bringing an end to your soul-stirring Ladakh adventure with Jai Maa Mansa.
